Can I find details of court case and verdict?

I've discovered that someone I used to know and who raped me (I didn't report) was in crown court last month. I don't know the date he was up, or the crime, or the verdict. I know his name and that it was in April. Can I find out what he was up for and what the sentence was?

Court cases are a matter of public record. The principle is that justice has to be seen to be done. You could try an Internet search if you haven't already done so, in case the local paper was covering court that day. If he was found not guilty, obviously there would be no sentence. You could always contact the court itself for advice.
And I'm sorry about what happened to you in the past. Hope you're ok.
