How much would you expect to pay a solicitor to do the conveyancing, as a seller?

Have never done this in the UK. Have had an offer on a deceased estate (I have probate) but not sure at what stage I need to get a solicitor, what to look for and what to expect to be charged.

Any thoughts, please?

Usually depends on the sale price - I would contact three conveyancing solicitors and ask them to quote you for the job rather than give you an hourly rate.
