Informing absent Ex of school

Hello All,

I was wondering whether I needed to inform absent ex of the school that my son has got into. He has nothing to do with DS anymore but there is a court order in place (not that he ever stuck to it!!) and I only have an email address that he does not respond from.

Do I legally have to tell him and give him the address etc?

Thanks

Does the court order say you have to proactively tell him? Otherwise no, you don't have to go out of your way to tell him. As long as you'd tell him if he asked, that's all that matters but even if you didn't, he could find out from the LEA.

No it doesn't but not sure about the whole PR thing. It just states I have residency, set specific dates in 2011 (which he never stuck to) and the EOW plus phone calls etc again that he never stuck to.

I just don't want him to ever have an excuse to make out I was the one refusing info thats all.

He'd have to prove you'd withheld the information (which you aren't, he just hasn't asked for it) and tbh, since he can get information from the LEA himself, he'd be wasting his time moaning to anyone that you wouldn't tell him.
