Likelihood of STBXH getting my pension

He has none of his own I have a small one which I started prior to our marriage. He is buying me out of our property so I won't have bricks and mortar as security, my pension will be my only real asset for my future. We have DCs who live with me - what are the chances if him getting half that pension? confused

If it's worth an inconsequential amount the court is likely to disregard the pension. Also the same if you're in your thirties rather than on the cusp of retirement. Without knowing the value of the pension and the value of the other assets it's impossible to comment further.
