Form E Filed Differing From Earlier Version

I exchanged Form E for the 3rd time this week. The previous two times, me ex didn't take any further action, and he waited six months plus to re start negotiations.

My ex in an earlier From E declared he had 'scrapped' a car that was owned by both of us in our marriage. I knew the car was still on the road as i saw it, and basically wrote and said so. In return my ex sent a letter through his solicitor with a 'story' of how the car must have been bought from the scrap yard and put back on the road.

In his latest From E he now claims he sold the vehicle, which has been the truth all along.

We're due in the family court in January, is there anything I can do to show the judge his lies over his finances. Its not just the one about the car, theres lots of others too in his finances. I'm self repping in court as i just can't afford a solicitor.

I'm just not sure of what my next move should be about this.

You should file a questionnaire, picking up on all of the inaccuracies in his form E and asking for documentary evidence.

So for example, asking for evidence of how much he received for the car, where it appears on his bank statement, and more importantly what he spent the money on.

The questionnaire has to be filed by a certain date, and that will be specified in the Notice of Appointment. I'm assuming that when you say you're in the family court in Jan, you're talking about a First Appointment?

Yes its the first appointment,

So the questionnaire is where i ask all the questions about his form E.

I'm representing myself so not sure of what happens when.

Questionnaire is due to be submitted the week before Christmas, and the court date is the first week in January.

I was unsure about the questionnaire, but if its where a ask questions about his inaccuracies in his form E i just hope its a long form!

there is no form for the questionnaire, you just write a list of questions.
