more divorce advice please?

I have received a financial settlement figure from my Exh through solicitors which I think I am going to accept.

Can he change his mind on the offer?

And the settlement will all come from the sale of our house, will the be subject to tax? What I mean is will I have to pay tax on my settlement?

I am so hopeful this nightmare will soon be over!
