I was a witness at a Magistrate's court case recently. Is there a way that I can google what the result was?

Thanks in advance

You could ring the court to find out the outcome of the case. I was involved in a Crown Court case and there was a special number you could ring to find out the outcome and the court staff were helpful. Sorry, but I don't know if it is the same in the Magistrates' Court.

It is. Ask to speak to the clerk if the court. It's all a matter of public record. And don't feel self-conscious - journalists ring to ask for this info all the time...

You should have a witness care officer allocated to you. Do you still have the court warning letter ? Their contact details should be on there. They should be updating you with the court result within 24 working hours under the "no witness no justice" guidelines.

You won't get the result from the court, particularly if it's a youth case - our courts will only update police/agencies with results and our busiest court will not provide results at all except over our linked computer systems.

And finally no, mags results aren't available online. Which police force area are you in ?

Trust me, you won't be permitted to speak to the clerk of the court. They do not speak to anyone.
