Online will writing kits

(9 Posts)

I need a will pretty sharpish, I'm not ill or anything, I just found out today that if anything happens to me, my half of my house goes to the other mortgage holder, leaving DP and DS homeless.

I've been to see a solicitor about some other half-related things and she said she could do me a will for £180.

Are the online ones like this one from WH Smith any good?

Do they do the same thing?

Thanks

DO NOT DO IT
Collaborate posted on a similar thread to this last week about how much money solicitors make sorting out DIY wills that were not drafted/executed correctly.

I would also highly recommend mumblechum
