My friend who has children seperated from her husband about 8 years ago They have no property and she is dependant on housing benefits and other benefits as he offers very little support about £200 a month. My friend is happy for him to divorce, but he is offering her nothing. I am concerned for her future. He nows wants to marry and the lady has 2 of her own children. I believe he has a good pension and a property overseas. I believe that my friend or her children would be entitled to some of the pension and property. Is this correct? My friend has no money to get legal advice but I really want to help her as her future looks grim without a roof on her head. Can anybody tell me if she can get some advice free somewhere.
