Financial arrangements upon divorce

I'll try to be as brief as I can, because I'm even boring myself thinking about it all now!

11 months ago I split with H, he refused to move out of the FMH as he felt because I'd ended the relationship I should move out. So me and our DD moved into rented property where we're still living now. The house was mine before me and H got together and he brought nothing to the table, so to speak, except debt when we got together. The house is now on the cusp of being in negative equity although this in part is because the house was undervalued because of the dumping ground he has turned it into since me and DD left. I don't really want the house; too many memories, but on the same count he does not earn enough for the mortgage company to take my name off of the mortgage. They will however transfer it into my sole name.

H is stating that he refuses to be left with nothing and that I can start again because I earn more (I do but then I work for it, it's not just landed in my lap), but he's sat there in my house thinking the world owes him something! He pays no maintenance and nothing towards childcare. He has a full time job with 2 pensions coming in and he already pays CSA for 4 children from his previous marriage.

I also have a gut feeling that his intention is to get my house in his name and then move his girlfriend and her children into it, leaving me, DD and DP to start from scratch.

And I guess what I really want is for someone who's been in this position before to tell me there's a light at the end of the tunnel. I just want what's fair.

I don't want to trickle feed but I've probably missed loads of salient information out so my apologies in advance.

If you want to have that property transferred back into your name I think the court would give you that. Go to the CSA too. You will get one-fifth of 25% of his income but it's better than nothing.
