Me and DH have both said we would like one more baby, purely for Callum as the older ones are all at school. its not for sure, and I have a coil so its not going to be a overnight decision, but the looks from people when they ask 'So youre not having any more, are you??' and I say 'maybe' makes me angry Its up to us surely!!

Because they couldn't cope as well as you do, if they were in your position, perhaps?

SparklyGothKat Sat 16-Aug-08 14:22:16

oh yes, I get the 'god how do you cope, with 4 kids, and 2 with disabilities? I can't cope with 1/2 etc'

Lovemyshoes Sat 16-Aug-08 14:22:32

I'm quite envy that you may have another little one. I would love another child but DH is stuck fast and will not relent sad

I love being pregnant, and we have the space. the only thing that puts me off slighty is the fact that the baby would be early. I want tests etc before I fall pregnant anyway

LazyLinePainterJane Sat 16-Aug-08 14:35:15

Because, as we all know, unless you have 2 children, NT, 1 girl, 1 boy, 2 years apart, then no fucker is happy.

SparklyGothKat Sat 16-Aug-08 14:37:29

My SIL has 2 kids, one boy 12, one girl 10, and she makes the comments too. I have 2 boys and 2 girls. I am happy but there is the 'maybe one more' thinking all the time

CaptainFabioHiltsTheCoolerCat Sat 16-Aug-08 14:37:48

lol at 'no fucker is happy'

I think most people find two is plenty of work and can't imagine how horrific more might be.

But fuck em! have twelve!

SparklyGothKat Sat 16-Aug-08 14:38:52

I have to say that going from 1-2 was a huge shock to my system, 2-3 was easy, 3-4 sooo easy...

Twiglett Sat 16-Aug-08 14:39:10

believe me even if you have 2 children, 1 boy, 1 girl, 3 years apart's still not ok

psychomum5 Sat 16-Aug-08 14:44:49

ah......never say never I reckon.

tis lovely that you are able to feel like this. another new person to love and love back....whats not to want????

SparklyGothKat Sat 16-Aug-08 14:45:36

its the 'you're not having anymore are you??' with the look of 'you must be mad if you are even thinking about it' that gets me angry

LazyLinePainterJane Sat 16-Aug-08 14:47:55

Twig, it's because you didn't conform! What did you think you were doing, waiting that extra year you rebel!!?

Makes me feel like having 5 kids just to piss MIL people off.

Lovemyshoes Sat 16-Aug-08 14:48:06

Just poke em in the eye grin

DisenchantedPlusBump Sat 16-Aug-08 14:50:12

I get this already, I have 2 boys and a DD ont he way. People are already asking me if I'm having anymore (let me get this one out first FFS! ) and I always answer truthfully, 'Yes I want more'

Some of the looks I get are amazing!

SparklyGothKat Sat 16-Aug-08 14:50:21

lol!! I come from a family of 4 kids, and my nan had 11!!! not sure i want that many though wink

SoupDragon Sat 16-Aug-08 14:51:41

you're not having anymore are you?? shock

Nbg Sat 16-Aug-08 14:53:42

I'm envy that you find it so easy.
I've found 2-3 quite hard.
Also envy of people who actually enjoy being pregnant.

Good luck to you smile

SparklyGothKat Sat 16-Aug-08 14:53:43

lol not atm. I can't wait to see these peoples faces if/when I do get pregnant..

<<sgk pulls out coil, and jumps dh>> grin

DisenchantedPlusBump Sat 16-Aug-08 14:54:58

Nbg I have nightmare pregnancies but still love every minute of it!

I have wobbly moments, but can still smile at the thought of little one whilst barfing in the loo grin

SoupDragon Sat 16-Aug-08 14:55:22

I could handle 4 of DS1 but only 1 of DS2 and possibly none of DD

Nbg Sat 16-Aug-08 15:00:53

I am such a miserable witch when I'm pregnant.

The only good bit is having nice skin and nails and then holding the baby at the end grin

DisenchantedPlusBump Sat 16-Aug-08 15:02:39

Miserable witch is a good description for me today, I love being PG, but Im sure my DH hates it.

I cried, sobbed even, today because he went out with his mum shopping,

that evil witch.

hormonal?? me???

lisad123 Sat 16-Aug-08 15:08:57

because your mad! hehe

Nbg Sat 16-Aug-08 15:34:49

Now see I wouldnt cry, I'd just scream blue murder at him for it and then cry when he'd gone grin
