Vanguard SIPP?

Anyone opened / thinking of opening a Vanguard SIPP?
I have a SIPP with HL but I know it is expensive, thought easy to use. But I don't want all my eggs in one basket.
I've got about 100k and am self employed so would like to boost my pension. I was thinking about drip feeding it into Vanguard Lifetime Strategy. I'm late 40s and mortgage free with family.

I opened one last week.
It took 24 hrs.
I paid in £12k hmrc tax refund was £3k.
I needed my Bank details and NI number.
I can see the gains/ losses on a daily basis.
The low fees and passive investing attracted me.

I moved my SIPP from HL to Vanguard last year and put everything in the Life Strategy 60% fund. The Vanguard site is really basic compared to HL and the choice of funds is tiny, but if you’re happy with that then it’s perfectly serviceable.

Alwayscheerful I have to confess I haven't decided yet.

For H-L initially I followed their tips / advice / portfolios but following the Neil Woodford debacle I now subscribe to Moneyweek and the Motley Fool.

The Neil Woodford disaster has totally put me off HL. I have some money in a S&S ISA. I had kept an eye on their most touted funds and had very nearly put a sizeable chunk into the Neil Woodford fund that imploded. Thank god I didn't!

I have stuck with it for the time being but I'm looking to move it over to AJ Bell as they have a good selection of options or Vanguard for the simplicity and low fees.
