Seriously thinking about making changes to our 9-5. Does anyone have experience of running these kind of stay and play sessions with soft play for under 5s and do they generate much income?

I've done some research and from what I've seen you can buy a business (with equip etc) for between 3-5K and then make most money from parties etc. I'm interested to.know about costs of overheads (staffing, Insurance etc) and how that effects the bank balance Smile

I have had a couple of clients cost this up and it’s not a big money maker.

The insurance is high, the rent is normally very high, staff turnover is high.

Long hours, lots of cleaning, etc

I used to work at one of these. They probably made most of their money from food, and having quite a few under 16s working at the weekend!

Big question is do you want to run a cafe. As that’s where the money is made.

Looked into it a few years ago but didn’t want to run a cafe and returns wherent great. We bought a gift shop instead
