Keep all previous year's pension statements?

I've been sorting through my paperwork and came across my annual pension statements- theyngo back quite a few years and I was wondering can I just bin the old ones when a new one arrives or do I need to keep them for any reason?

I only tend to keep the most recent as it shows an up to date valuation and a record of the year's contributions which I declare for tax purposes. If you thought there was any problem like misselling you could always request copies of older statements from your pension company.

Thanks. It's the local government pension schemes so I would hope there will never be any problem with mis-selling but good to know I can request them if I ever need to. I will bin them.
