Co Q10 & other supplements

I had my 3rd MC over the weekend, and other than being older, have no known medical issues, good egg count for age etc. If you took supplements like Co Q10 what dose did you take and any brands you recommend?

I tried Co Q10, got pregnant and miscarried. After the miscarriage I switched to Procieve Max, I then had IVF and had 4 to quality embryos so I think Procieve has worked. It is a bit costly but I could take it alone without needing extra conception vitamins.

I would recommend the Zita West IVF preparation pack - it has higher quantities of recommended vitamins than Proceive among with omega 3’s and vitamin d spray which are all supposed to be important. You could also supplement it with 200 of ubiquinol which is the purer form of coq10.

I read the book it starts with the egg and the above combination is very close to the doses she recommends (I went through the book and the amounts in all the main fertility supplements on the market). You could also give up alcohol and caffeine and see if the combination makes a difference.

(Oh and I know you didn’t say ivf but it’s more it’s a really good bundle of vitamins)

@Zenzenzenzenzen- thanks for the info. The most recent MC was an IVF pregnancy, although I'm sure if the tabs help egg quality, it would help it we fall naturally again or via IVF.

Its Always good to ask! I spent ages looking up all market supplements and comparing the quantities of each drug to what’s in her book recommendations! They are expensive but we are paying privately so hoping it’ll mean less round of ivf so overall less money

@Zenzenzenzenzen- Thanks, I'll look those ones up. I've never heard of Zita West. How are her supplements different from other CoQ10/Ubiquinol you can buy elsewhere online?

It’s all together in tablet form - I supplement with pure ubiquinol as hers contains 50mg of it!

We’ve had 3 ivf miscarriages in the last year - the last one in April. We have conceived naturally 5 years ago an have a little one and plan to try naturally again now.

The supplements we have just started are

Me: natures way prenatal
Omegas
Maca root
Ubiquinol
Cordeyseps
Vitamin d3

Partner: procieve max
Ubiquinol
Omegas
Maca

I don’t know if that’s the best for us but I just looked online as we have male factor.
