Hi,
So I'm very new to mumsnet and just these types of forums in general but taking the plunge 🙈
My husband and I have been trying to conceive with our 2nd child for nearly 17 months (I have PCOS and Endometriosis) we were just about to have our final appt with my consultant at the fertility clinic to talk through our test results and decide on a plan for moving forward (which I believe was starting clomid best case scenario) but it was cancelled due to covid. Deep down I did expect this but it has still hit me hard. :(
Yesterday though I experienced sharp pain on the right side of my pelvis (CD20) I immediately thought this was ovulation pain as any of the months I ovulate I have been able to feel this similar pain. I know this may sound fairly accurate, however I have VERY irregular and unreliable cycles they range from 44 days to last year my longest was 116 days. So yesterday when i felt this pain that i am fairly familliar with and got my hopes up a little bit as we have DTD every other day for 6 days leading up to sand day of suspected OV. The last 3 month's my cycles have been between 44 and 52 days (which is actually very good for me) so according to my app, which I have been using religiously 🤣 my fertile window should be next week, but could it be that my body is actually playing ball this month and really letting me in with a chance this cycle? I'm scared to get my hopes up.
I'm sorry for the massive ramble I hope this makes sense and maybe someone has experienced something similar. Thanks in advance :)
