Where do I even go from here, I think it feels worse that we don't know why! Our last baby was healthy but their heart still stopped beating 😢 any advice on where to go next?

Have you had all the relevant tests? Thyroid, blood clotting etc?

I've had 5 miscarriages and 2 ectopics and know how awful it feels to have no answers 💐

I would try PGS testing of embryos - it's not 100% accurate and has its faults but it's worth a try? I did it for one cycle of IVF and my embryos came back genetically abnormal - it sort of gave us the answers we were looking for - we have not tested on future cycles and will just transfer what we have and 🤞 there is a good one in the bunch x

Hi @canyouseethesea
Not exactly the same situation, but I had 3 miscarriages around the 10 week mark (babies died somewhere between 9 and 10 weeks). Genetic testing revealed no chromosome problems for the last two, we didn't test the first. Had all the tests for me - nothing came back as wrong. So went to IVF - first round resulted in BFP but termination at 15 weeks- baby had multiple problems, but chromosomes were all normal... so we began to wonder what was going on. Was told by clinic my eggs were fine - as far as they can tell anywsy. Decided to do DNA fragmentation test for DH - came back very high at 40% (despite normal analysis). Apparently it's early days in the research but there is increasing evidence this can lead to miscarriage - as DNA is damaged and the egg is unable to repair such a degree of damage. Wondered whether your partner has been tested too? Sorry if not relevant to you - but as my husband's analysis was deemed normal, all the focus was on me. We put him on Menevit supplement and LOADS of antioxidants. Who knows, it might work! Good luck for the future - it's a truly horrific thing to experience, and I sincerely hope you get the happy ending you deserve

@Lavienestjamaisjuste so sorry to hear of your losses 💕 DH has never had any testing because I've always fallen pregnant quite quickly so they said no need for semen analysis but your post has opened my eyes to the possibility it could be on DH side. I've tried progesterone, aspirin, clexane injections and steroids xx
