TTC & need to lose weight

Hi, my husband and I have been trying for a family for 3.5 years and our GP made a referral to the fertility clinic. My husband was given an appointment and his tests came back clear. I however had my application for testing rejected due to my BMI being too high. Has anyone else been through this? I understand I wouldn’t be entitled to IVF due to my weight but I’m struggling to cope with them doing no tests whatsoever. I’m doing my best to get my BMI down but it feels like it’s going to take too long given I am 35. I’d love to hear of other people’s journeys of losing the necessary weight and if the referral was then accepted.

Thank you twinkledag ... unfortunately it’s a LOT (7.5stone) but have lost 2.5 up til now 🙂
