Covid 19 and IVF waiting lists

I was wondering, has anyone been told anything about how ivf clinics will decide who gets to have ivf first when they re open? The clinic I'm with normally has no waiting list, so I've got no idea how they will sort this out. They are still doing consent appointments but no treatments so I imagine when they re open the list will be huge.

In order of those who finished a retrieval but had a freeze all, those who had a medicated cycle cut short, then had the earliest consultation appointment probably will be the case for you I guess.

Probably as pp said, though ideally they would prioritise somehow people who have time playing against them (older women, people with low amh/fsh, etc).

Most likely they'll pick up where they left off.

I'm with Create and they have said there isn't a waiting list at the moment but I've heard other clinics have said those that had their cycles cancelled mid way through will be prioritised first

I don't think the wait will be as bad as some imagine. My clinic didn't have a wait list before the pandemic. It does a lot of NHS treatment and I can only imagine that they're getting 0 referrals for that. Then there's new private patients which I imagine will be in the order they contact. My guess is that it'll be a case of picking up where they left off with perhaps a wait for those new patients who hadn't begun being processed when covid shut everything down
