Please don't give up. I know it's a long time. We started TTC Oct 2018, and it's so draining. I often feel like giving up but at the same time I'm still tracking every cycle! I always try to keep it in mind that there are lots of people on here that do get pregnant within 18 months / 2 years. I've been calling our clinic this week to request they check my tubes - I had my appendix out when I was 3 years old. Currently we are unexplained and my clinic don't seem to do HSG as standard process. I'm hoping we'll have an outcome from that that will mean we're not unexplained anymore and hopefully won't have to wait the full 2 years for treatments x

You are only 25. Someone without any problems would take up to 2 full years to conceive naturally - with your issues this is even more important. Keep going until December and if still no joy ask for a referral to an NHS gaenocologist. They can discuss non-IVF fertility treatments with you.

It must be really hard to come to terms with giving up completely.

With everything that's going on right now, could you just give yourself a TTC holiday for 6 months? No testing, no charting, just try to forget about it then have a think about what you want to do again In October?

Hi, I've thought about giving up so many times, but nearly 4 years later we're still trying! I know it can be so hard.
My advice is to try not to obsess over it too much - avoid social media especially. Seeing all the pregnancy posts just makes things worse! When we do eventually have our babies it will make it all worth it, just keep reminding yourself that something worth having is something worth fighting for ❤️

Thank you for your replies 💕 can’t thank use enough.
@JiltedJohnsJulie Iv calmed down abit now thank you 😂 I’ll be honest we are very lazy DTD, I work away in london every 2-3 months so probably not helping.
I am going to relax now just for my own sanity and enjoy my toddler 💕 I just wish they’d find something actually wrong ! Since I’m young and a toddler and had 3 pregnancies they just laugh at me when I mention I’m worried ! X

I really would give yourself a break from it for 6 months. DTD when you want to, have a drink together and have fun together.

At the end of 6 months, you should hopefully feel more relaxed and we should be out of isolation and you can decide then if you still want to give up completely Thanks
