Hi,

After 2 miscarriages my wife and I are looking to get some help from a fertility clinic. The idea is at least to get more information and if needed to get their help to conceive a baby.

Anyone has good recommendation? I had a look at the Evewell and the CRGH, both looks great so hard to decide.

Any help is welcomed!

Thank you!

Hi there,

I recommend the ARGC in London. After doing ivf with them I became pregnant, after three failed attempts at two other clinics. They are ahead in terms of immunity testing which might be of particular interest to you. I would have a look at their results.
I really feel for you and wish you the best.

Hi @Pawtti how is your search going so far? Stumbled on your post whilst looking for info on Evewell. Did you get any further looking into them? I'm also looking at where to start treatment post-covid

Hi @Sylva123,

After doing our search, we selected the Evewell based on recommendations. So far, good experience, very easy / convenient to book despite the lockdown, the team is very accommodating. Early days but so far happy with it. The team is nice and professional.

Amazing, thank you. I've read such good things about them. They look like a good option for us too.
If you've already had tests by NHS do you know if you're required to re-do them all with them?
I'm trying to get a sense of how much it would all cost there. Their price list is online, but hard to know how many of those things we'd need.
I hope it goes well for you!

I've been to the Evewell - lovely people but unfortunately by successful for me.

They will accept NHS tests if they were within a certain timeframe.

I didn't really look at the stats when I was researching fertility clinics. I ended up going with IVI clinic in London. I was successful on the first fresh IVF cycle (currently 10 weeks pregnant). I was happy with the consultant, treatment protocol and the general administration of the whole IVF process.

Aria looks very good, a friend went there for egg freezing, but I did some research for myself & they are not really set up for complex issues. If you aren’t succeeding with Evewell then they’re unlikely to offer a better outcome. CRGH or ARGC might be worth consulting with.

@m888 not sure if you went with Aria, I just stumbled across this thread. I’m starting my first cycle of IVF at Aria at the moment. It was recommended to me by a friend who has had two pregnancies (one little girl who is 3 and one about to be born) from IVF with one of the consultants there (though before the consultant started at Aria). So far it has been a positive experience for me, whereas I wasn’t very impressed at Evewell, but I guess I’ll soon find out if it works or not!!

@99pctpractice.
Could you please let me know how your experience woth Aria so far?
I am considering it but there is not much review about it

Hi @Linh0706 so far so good. I like the consultant I’m seeing (she is realistic about our chances, but in a kind way), and feel well taken care of. All my scans have been with the consultant, which i find reassuring. Egg collection is hopefully this Wednesday so it’s still relatively early stages though!

@99pctpractice All the best for your egg collection . Fingers crossed for you
Can i ask if you do ivf or Icsi with Aria?

Thanks, @Linh0706 - because my husbands sperm quality is good (and maybe also because I have had previous pregnancies?), they didn’t suggest ICSI for us. Only 4 eggs collected, but they had all fertilised this morning, so fingers crossed at least one makes it to blastocyst!

Hello I’m glad your cycle went so well and you like the clinic. Could I please ask your age? Xx

I’m also with Aria and, while too early to know if will be successful, can’t fault the staff, responsiveness and set up there. Really has made this fairly seamless during what is naturally not an easy time.
