Hi.
Does anyone know if I can get lubion from anywhere apart from my clinic. I'm on 2 25mg injections a day which comes to approx £140 a week for 2 boxes of 7. I would love to hear if anyone is getting it cheaper and if so where from.
Thanks very much.

Hi
Asda dispense ivf meds at cost price. Prices do fluctuate a bit month on month but I think mine have always been between approx £50 and £60 for a box of 7.

Ps the needles and syringes aren’t included in the box. Sorry to state the obvious but this caught me out the first time I got them from Asda. I got these from my clinic but I think Asda can supply them.

Hi,
Unfortunately I didn't. To be honest I didn't look to much further into it and ended up just using the clinic as it was all so overwhelming.
Wishing you the best of luck.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

@willowrose30 no worries, thanks so much for coming back to me.

was your cycle successful?

feel like I will just go with the clinic too….. purely for ease!!! What’s a few hundred extra all things considered…. 😭

Exactly that, small change compared to what we had already spent 🤦‍♀️
It was 😍 I now have a whirlwind 18 month old girl.
Our original cycle ended in a chemical pregnancy, luckily we had one frozen and that cycle was successful so didn't have to go through a full round again.

On the successful round I had mcdonalds chips after implantation, ate all pinapple, laid still for 10 minutes or so after and rested well for a few days afterwards. None of that likely made any difference but its the only thing I did differently.
After all the money and angst what's the harm in few old wives tales right.

Wishing you all the luck.

@willowrose30 amazing that you had a good news story!

I had my third transfer yesterday (after one failed fresh and one failed frozen) but it was so stressful in the end….. never wanted to transfer in that state! 😭 nothing just seemed to line up. One emby didn’t make the thaw and got messed about in the pharmacy…… ended up in a meltdown. Got myself in a bit of a pickle to say the least and now convinced I have ruined my chances so planing for the next…….!

maybe I’ll have a bucket of pineapple for breakfast 👀

congrats on your little one x

It's so hard isn't it.
I was absolutely convinced that it hadn't worked after being certain that the first one worked and the heartbreak when it didn't.
Like you I just started mentally preparing for the next round.
Nothing worse than this wait period. Rest where you can and take care of yourself.
I tested before the official test date to put myself out of my misery and had the biggest surprise.
Try not to overthink yesterday, It's done now and logically there is nothing you did or can do but wait. Eat that bucket of pinapple anyhow 😉
If need a rant or a chat feel free to message me. Keeping everything crossed for you.
