Hi @Oceanblueeyes21 - thanks for your reply.

I know on my last round we were supposed to start in the November and couldn't start until the March last year due to many road blocks, I'm just so fed up of constantly waiting for things, I can't even reply on my own body.

Thank you though, I really do try to forget but I can't even sleep at the minute, feel like going crazy!

I'm definitely not pregnant, unfortunately I can never have children naturally so IVF is my only way x

Hi Dot,

Even if your period had come on time, IVF has many road-blocks and things sometimes does not go the way we plan.

I started my first cycle in January but it was cut short as I was not responding to the injections. So I am starting again this coming week.

I would suggest in this instance that you try and forget about it and then hopefully it will come soon. The more you think about it, the more it won't come.

Try and be resilient as many things can crop up along the way and as much as its so emotional, just try to be as strong as possible.

Also, are you sure your not pregnant?

Sorry, I wasn't very clear with my above message as I went on a rampage, I am due to start IVF which is what the injections are for, so I'm basically a month late starting IVF. I'm a big believer in everything happens for a reason so why is this sad

Hi all.

Sorry to keep writing on here about the same thing, just really at my whitts end! I was due to start my period about a month ago, then obviously I start my injections the day after it appears. I called the clinic a week ago to advise them that I've still not had my period and that I'm 3 weeks late (at that point) they said they wont do anything unless I'm basically 6 weeks late, then they can book me an appointment to book in for a scan to check that no cysts have returned.

They said they can't check me earlier because on my records it says I tend to have long cycles, I really think this is unfair because I'm not normally this late! I'm just over thinking everything now and it's really not good for my mental health. I don't want to force everything but I've done everything I feel I think I could have done to have a period, but because I'm up tight now it's just never going to happen!

Obviously I'd love some advice, but theres nothing much anyone can say, just wanted a rant and has anyone else every experienced this!!
