Hi, not sure if I’m posting this in the correct place I’m new to this! I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience to me. Since I was young I’ve always had terribly irregular periods and signs of PCOS so I started talking the pill a year or so ago but I was worried it was masking my problems and would limit my chances of conceiving in future if I didn’t try and sort out what was wrong with me so I stopped taking it last month. When I stopped taking it I had a typical withdrawal bleed a few day’s after but then expected to go back to being very irregular again. However 28 days later my period came and I’ve just finished a normal 5 day bleed and am hoping it will be the same next month. So I guess what I’m asking is did anyone who suffers with PCOS or irregular periods find the pill actually helped their periods regulate? I’m worried things are going to go back to before after a few months.
Thank you!

The pill did the opposite for me and I wish I'd never taken it.

Fingers crossed your period remains regular but I'd definitely say to track everything in an App. Will help if you need info for GP in future.

My endo (not in uk, so not much trust) put me on pill for 1y suggesting that it would resettle my endo system (in similar way pregnancy does it), but after a few months off the pill things were back to my ‘normal’. I would suggest you try some other things (exercise, low carb diet or whole grain/ smaller more regular portions, etc.) instead of a pill, but I’m not a doctor.

Try Inositol, it made wonders for me!

I agree with Lunit4 - I started taking Inositol middle of December and got AF 2 weeks later. This is after having 140-190 day cycles.

I've now just ovulated on day 35 and expecting AF around day 45/46.

Definitely a miracle drug!
