Your amh and how many eggs??

Would just Like to know what others amh levels were and how many eggs they got at collection.

Hey..

My AMH is about 57.

Cycle 1 - 16 eggs (egg shared)
Cycle 2 - 27 eggs (egg shared)
Cycle 3 - 12 eggs (egg shared)
Cycle 4 - 38 eggs (egg shared) + 1 DS
Cycle 5 - 12 eggs (None fertilised, most were immature)
Cycle 6 - 24 eggs

Amh was 9.2 and collected 20 eggs. Only 7 fertilised (we were told it’s usually 50%) so I suspect some were immature. We had to do a freeze all due to risk of OHSS. 4 made it to blast.

I can't remember my Amh levels, sorry.

Cycle 1 - 18 eggs collected (egg share) 2 make it to blast and implanted, got to 31+6 2 boys (one still born)

Cycle 2 - 20 eggs collected (egg share) 3 made it to blast, one implanted, 2 frozen, made it to 32+1 had a girl

2017 - AMH was 16. Did ICSI. Got 9 eggs, 7 mature, 5 fertlised, 2 made it to 5 day blast. 1 is my son :-) and the other was a BFN this past Feb :-(

2019 July - another ICSI. Same numbers roughly but AMH 6. Likely the 2 that got to day 3 were abnormal embryos cause one was BFN, the other stopped growing before transfer day :'(

I don’t know what units others are using but in ng/mL 1.0 is a normal level, so I was only just below normal.

I think most of us are using pmol/l.

Mine is 15 pmol and I’m 29 so worrying I won’t respond well. Also need icsi due to male factor.

Try not to worry about the number of eggs. Quality is more important than quantity and you’re still young, which really helps. You only need one good egg and some luck!

I'm 36 AMH 12.9
Mild stim short protocol ivf
Cycle 1 - 12 collected - 3 blasts - BFN and a ruptured ectopic pregnancy

Cycle 2 - 11 collected only 4 fertilised with ICSI so ooor result - 2 OGS tests blasts both abnormal

Cycle 3-5 I'm doing natural modified ivf as whilst I produce a good number of follicles the eggs are poor quality

@Idontlikeitthere1 I'm not sure exactly what my AMH is because a book I read about ivf suggested I shouldn't ask as it's just one more number to stress about. What I do know is I'm 30, my initial AFC was 9 which then increased to 15 before my cycle started. I was on maximum stims and my consultant (at our follow up appt) said he didn't think we would get many eggs at all due to my amh. Anyway I got 10 eggs, 8 mature, 6 fertilised 2 made it to blast but only 1 good enough for transfer. It was a BFN.
We have male factor and need icsi, our sperm that we have frozen is poor quality and my DH has azoospermia so we have no option but to use the dodgey frozen batch.
Like you say, I think AMH is just a number and it's hard to predict how many eggs you will get based on that number. I would just try and put it all to the back of your mind and head into your cycle with as much positivity as you can, you can't influence your numbers at this point

I was told age was a more important factor ie the quality more than the quantity.
My Amh was 1.44 (can't remember which scale - I know there are two- but it was very low regardless) at age 29.

I had 4 rounds- 3 rounds for dc1 and 1 for dc2
Last two were successful and I only got 4 eggs from each of the last two ( and no more than 6 for the others).

I don't believe in AMH as a predictor of eggs. I was 34 with an AMH of about 15 and got 5-6 eggs each cycle

I was told I had any levels of a 6-9 year older woman and stand little chances of conceiving and ivf. I am keeping positive and hope other doctors will be more supportive. This was very disheartening experience and I am sure my stress levels grew due to this. Now trying to keep as calm as I can and positive about the future
