Somewhere between £25-30k in all. But also about £5k in the middle on a blow out holiday after an unsuccessful cycle to escape from the festive period.

Just under £15k on one cycle (freeze all) and two transfers. Eye watering and so annoying how some people only have to look at each other and get pregnant. Imagine the handbags and holidays one could buy!!!

I don’t know, but I would guess at about 70-80k. Probably should have kept track really, but it would have been too depressing.

£30K - might as well have burned it or had a holiday of a lifetime!

We spent £45k but also had x3 NHS cycles.

And some people argue about who is paying for a pre-sex meal 🙄

GrumpyHoonMain · 02/01/2020 14:46

35k but as it did result in a baby we are considering doing it all again for number 2

2 Nhs funded cycles.
3 private cycles, plus one frozen transfer.
Needed genetic testing so each cycle was around £10k. Not counting incidental costs (missing work, hotel costs etc).

Report
Gribbie · 02/01/2020 14:52

Have got 2 kids from it though. One from the nhs cycles and one from the paid cycles.

We had our one funded round of IVF, which ended up costing us about £2k because of the clinic location.

Then instead of IVF we saw a private urologist consultant, specialising in male infertility (and our diagnosis), spent somewhere in the region of £5k and luckily had a bfp.

Wowzers some numbers are eye watering and pray you have/will have something to show for it. The things we do for a family! I have spent about £11k and currently 9 weeks pregnant so fingers crossed that I appear to have gotten lucky
