How many days post transfer did you get a positive?

I have just finished my first round of ICSI and had a 5 day transfer early Saturday morning.
I know its different for everyone and their is no exact science.
But for fun, and to keep me half sane during the TWW, wondering how many days past a 5 day transfer people got their positive results?

7 days past 5 day transfer. Apparently boys give a BFP earlier than girls.

The 2ww felt less painful with IVF as it's only a week to wait after the transfer.

Mine was 4dp 5dt (faint line on a FRER)

Anaesthetist83 Wed 18-Dec-19 19:01:24

5dp5dt a fairly clear line on a FRER. No trigger so definitely true. Now just petrified it won’t continue

I'm 9 days post transfer and the wait is killing me this week! Generally feeling off it and my head it reading into every symptom I'm feeling. Tempted to test tomorrow

@WorriedButterfly my OTD is Friday too, I tested early, couldn't help it...

Hopefully84 Tue 17-Dec-19 15:05:37

Thanks so much. I'm feeling much more positive now, ready to get going again. Let us know how you get on.
Wishing you lots of luck. 🤞

Sorry to hear that, take care of yourself. Good luck for 2020. Still holding off, OTD is Friday. No symptoms apart from very sore ovaries which is likely to be from the progesterone. X

Hopefully84 Tue 17-Dec-19 13:36:42

I'm out unfortunately. OTD is tomorrow but have been testing since 6dpt.
We have one guy in the freezer so hopefully we get going with that ASAP.
How about yourself?

How are you getting on @Hopefully84? Are you still holding off?

fool11 Mon 09-Dec-19 15:00:25

Very very faint line 11dp5dt.

kell2126 Mon 09-Dec-19 13:59:21

Faint BFP 5dp5dt; clear BFP 6dp5dt (FRER)

Thanks again for all your message. I'm definitely in the prefer to know camp, really trying not to get my hopes up. So would just like to know either way so I can start to process and deal with it. It's the not knowing and the living in hope that really gets to me. Feel like I'm talking myself into it and then out of it. Hate the feeling of being in limbo. Perhaps I'll wait until day 7 so I know the trigger shot will be all gone.

@WorriedButterfly it feels like an age doesn't it. Good luck to you. Here's hoping for a calm and relaxing week. 😉🤣

8 days post 5 day transfer of 2 frozen embryos - very strong positive on a FRER. One of my 9 week old twins is now asleep on my chest, the other in her bouncy chair! Good luck

WorriedButterfly Sun 08-Dec-19 21:29:45

I'm with you @Hopefully84 - I also transferred yesterday! It already feels like a week ago!

Jojo19834 Sun 08-Dec-19 19:57:48

I would definitely recommend waiting it out, as someone said above, if you test too early and it’s a negative then your hope bubble is burst, but hi still go ‘maybe tomorrow’. I got a strong line 9dp5dt FET recently. I know it is hard but try and wait as long as you can do you can celebrate a strong line, or just digest the BFN if you get it. Good luck

Settlersofcatan Sun 08-Dec-19 19:53:27

One thing to bear in mind is that once you get a negative, your ‘hope bubble’ is burst. You’ll wonder if you’ve tested too early. But deep down you know. As and when we do our next cycle I’m definitely going to wait at least 10 days.

I think everyone is different. I found with my BFN cycle that testing early helped me to come to terms with it gradually and with my BFP cycles it gave me the good news early.

Just think about how you personally are and do what works for you.

Youngatheart00 Sun 08-Dec-19 19:35:28

I tested at 5 days (BFN, which continued for subsequent day 9,14 and OTD blood test).

5 days! ended in a chemical but i was glad that I had that positive : )

Settlersofcatan Sun 08-Dec-19 17:47:02

5 days with fresh transfer and 6 with frozen. Good luck!

RedPandaFluff Sun 08-Dec-19 17:46:27

Me too, @Persipan, and then an unmistakeable positive 5dp5dt.

Post ET is soooo hard - time stretches and it's all you can think about! Good luck, @Hopefully84!

Persipan Sun 08-Dec-19 17:43:03

I got a very, very faint positive on a FRER in the afternoon of 4dp5dt.

Hopefully84 Sun 08-Dec-19 17:40:28

Thanks everyone.
It was only yesterday and I'm already climbing the walls.
Trying to be very zen and relaxed while furiously googling and analysing every twinge.
It's so difficult wondering if anything will make a difference or if really is down to egg quality and luck.
Thanks for all your responses.
My husband wants to wait until official test date but I know I'll be working my way through my stash of internet cheapies. No doubt driving myself even more crazy staring at imagined lines.
I'm actually relatively sane person in other circumstances. 🙈

7dp3dt

AliceAbsolum Sun 08-Dec-19 17:08:08

9. Very faint.

GlamGiraffe Sun 08-Dec-19 15:52:11

5 d p 6dt. I knew I was pregnant, so that night I tested. I had bad hyperemesis in my first pregnancy and as soon as I woke up being sick 5days pt I knew I was pregnant.
