Exercising during IVF

Hi all, I was wondering what exercise is OK during IVF? I'm on my 5th day of bemfola now and having scans every other day.

I usually do a high impact intense exercise class for 2hrs once a week. Think, cross between MMA and self-defence. I usually come home with bruised arms and legs and having been thrown on the floor quite a few times (it is fun honest!). We ran for such a long time last week that I got dizzy, and we do lots of burpees etc. I'm not very fit!

Do you think I'm ok to keep going? Am I at risk of my oversized ovaries getting twisted?! What about with egg collection and transfer? I'm more worried about my ovaries doing some kind of loop the loop than anything else 😳

Advice is to keep exercise low intensity. It’s only 6 week or so and so id suggest you prioritise your treatment ahead of fitness classes and stay active via brisk walking etc.

🤔 er definitely don't want to be doing martial art/impact type activities closer to egg collection? And certainly not in the 2 weeks after transfer?
If the worst happens and the cycle doesn't work I would be constantly replaying the cycle in my mind and would be cross at myself for not giving myself the best chance all for the sake of taking it easy for a couple of weeks......

Thanks guys. I sadly messaged and told my instructor he wouldn't see me in class for a little while.
