Hi there,
My hubby and I are trying to conceive for 3 years now, all checked up and everything fine... Conceived naturally 2 times and then lost it at 5 weeks, the doc thought it was endometriosis so did laparoscopy, no endo found. Did an IUI 3,5 weeks ago and was positive on the first try, but just miscarried again at 5,5 weeks... so frustrating...Anyone with similar experiences and what are the next steps you are taking?

Yes.
I attended the reoccurring miscarriage clinic after being referred by my GP.
It was explained to me that they do not know the cause of 98% of miscarriages. They simply do not know so can’t give a reason.

They take a million blood tests from you, still no answers.

We just kept going, kept trying until we got our baby in the end.

Yes 5 mc and 2 ectopics and now permanently infertile - 1 DC after the first loss but 6 afterwards- we are waiting for a second ivf transfer in a couple of weeks - we ll maybe try a third and final cycle and then we ll be ready to say no more.

Hello. I ‘only’ had two mc, one at 10 weeks and one at 12 weeks. Both unexplained. Our third try gave us my dd. We’d have just kept trying, I remember it feeling awful though.

The only thing I did differently the time that worked was fertility reflexology. I appreciate there’s no evidence behind it though but I felt it helped

@Aloha23 2 chemical pregnancies - sending you much love. We are going for our second transfer in a couple of weeks

@IDontDrinkTea I was getting acupuncture, but because I wasn't really enjoying it have decided to try reflexology : ) Does it feel nice? With acupuncture I always feel that I am just lying there, waiting... : )

For me it was acupuncture. She is an excellent practitioner and I'd highly recommend her. Is been told I would definitely need help to conceive, then had a miscarriage out of the blue. The second was nearly a year later.

She treated me for exhaustion first for a while before even addressing fertility and when she did, my cycles became more regular and the flow healthier. My temperature charts were noticeably different, with much greater distinction between pre and post ovulation temperatures. I had one more early loss and the next cycle produced my 1st living child.

After our first daughter we had two losses, both of twins and both before 7/8 weeks. We then paid privately to have a barrage of blood tests and everything came back fine. However, when I asked my consultant what my progesterone levels were he explained that they had not been tested.
I diagnosed myself with low progesterone Smileand purchased a progesterone cream. As soon as I got my next BFP I rubbed a quarter of a teaspoon of this cream on the inside of my wrists until about 13 weeks. My next pregnancy was successful and I had another baby 11 months later!
I'm not saying this is the answer for everyone but it certainly worked for me. I wish you all the best TTC. It can be one hell of a journey.

So sorry OP, it’s beyond tough Flowers

Have you been referred to a recurrent miscarriage clinic? My EPU referred me after my third. I had all the tests and that never found out the reason but my consultant was fantastic and tried increasing numbers and levels of things and my sixth pregnancy gave me my DD. For that one I was on a huge cocktail of drugs and won’t ever know what worked but was lucky they were willing to throw the kitchen sink at me.

I also had acupuncture. I don’t know if it helped but my consultant was all for it and had had many patients who’d found useful with natural and assisted conceptions. I certainly found it very relaxing and if you enjoy it and can afford it it can’t hurt. It wasn’t the reason this baby made it and I lost one while I was going regularly but it made the healing much easier than my previous ones.

9 miscarriages over the last 20 years.
There was no reason found until 6 years ago when I had multiple blood clots and DVTs. Almost died and was eventually diagnosed with Antiphospholipid syndrome.

@AnneLovesGilbert thanks for sharing, yep I got referred now as well, let’s see what they say...
@BonnieBeaumont, love your proactive self diagnosing 😁👌 I might try that!
What a tough journey, ladies, thanks for sharing your experiences!
