hi all

I had a laparoscopy last week that found lots of adhesions following my c-section and both tubes are blocked.

having a HSG to confirm, but I wondered if anyone has successfully had adhesions removed from their tubes?

Sorry I can't help too much, but hoping this bumps the thread a little and someone can shed some light! Smile

My tubes are also at least partially blocked (though no idea why) and we are being referred for IVF, though this is also due to other issues preventing us conceiving.

I have definitely heard of it being done when that is the only barrier to conception. Have a look on here: www.nhs.uk/conditions/infertility/treatment/ and scroll down to 'surgical procedures'.

Good luck! X

I had adhesions post c section too - ended up with 2 ruptured ectopics and now no tubes......most people I know who had surgery to unblock ended up with ectopics because whilst the repair looked ok from the outside the tube just didn't work anymore

If you can I would progress to IVF rather than risking the surgery x
