short protocol starting when your period starts

Hi,

I am looking for a clinic that does short protocol where you just start you stimulation drugs when you start your period and they don't put you on norethisterone or anything else beforehand. Does anyone know of clinics who do this?

Are you in or near London? If so, Kings did short protocol for me twice. However I believe clinics generally offer both long and short depending on the patient's condition. We had unknown infertility but I think with things like pcos they treat it differently. Good luck x

@josephnsn I'm currently with Create Fertility at St Paul's. I started my first cycle (mild IVF) on the first day of my period. I'd recommend them for their friendly service and the ease in getting appts. Hopefully soon I'll be able to recommend them for getting pregnant 🤞🏼

Most clinics will offer the short protocol. I've done it 3 times and now have been diagnosed with endo so my next transfer will be a down regging FET. Good luck! x

PS I did my short protocols with Care Manchester and rate them highly x

I think very many clinics will do short protocol without you having to go on the pill beforehand. I've had that on NHS and will have it again privately.

Where it might be more complicated is if an egg donor is involved or you're donating some eggs to reduce treatment cost and they want donor and recipient in synch but otherwise no reason not to (except if they want to manipulate dates).

I did short protocol at City Fertility in London. I have endo and PCOS but since I had a lap to remove endo in Jan we decided that short protocol was the way forward. I got a bfp but sadly had a mmc at 8+3.
