Hi ladies,
Started taking myo-inositol about 3.5 weeks ago at the recommended dose for PCOS, so 2g twice per day. I'm also taking one folic acid tablet in the mornings.
Although we are TTC, and have been for a while, my main idea is to try and regain my natural cycles. I've read so many PCOS ladies say things like, "Wow, this is amazing, had my first period in a year 1 week after starting this!!" etc etc, you get the idea.
I haven't come on yet and, whilst I know it's silly, the fact that it isn't showing any signs of working yet is making me concerned that perhaps it is going to be harder to make me ovulate than I had first thought... I gave up on this happening completely naturally a while ago, but now I'm worried that things like Clomid/Metformin aren't going to work for the same reasons that this hasn't worked so far.
Sorry for the long-winded message - any stories of how inositol has worked (or hasn't) for you, and how this has compared to stronger medication like Clomid etc, would be great!
