Hello ladies!

I wanted to start my own thread ,
My story- back in 2006 I conceived my son who is now 13 , pregnancy was all good no issues , when my son was 1 me and dad spilt up I met another guy anyways we’ve been trying TC for 12 years now!

In 2016 I went for a HSC where they put dye into your tubes to see if there’s a blockage anyhow results came back both tubes blocked! So we were suggested for ICIS we started a round in November 2016 got our BFP early December around 7 weeks I started to bleed heavily ended up losing the baby - then in June 2017 I feel pregnant naturally ( we were so shocked ) 😬 as been trying for 11 years with no success
We went for an early scan at around 6 weeks as was having some pains on my left side and was wiping brown ended up being an eptopic 😢 left tube was removed -
After this was a very bad time for me I fell into depression & wanted to give up hope

Few months later I went back to my GP who I requested send me off to another fertility specialist which they did & we had an appointment in February he was so nice and lovely 😊 he looked at my previous images from x rays etc & suggested tubal repair ( as my tube is swollen & full of fluid ) my operation is now on Monday and I’m feeling so nervous 😟 and just wanted to know if anyone out there has been through similar than myself and any successful stories after tubal repair?

Lots of love ❤️

I've ended up with both my tubes removed now due to 2 ectopics in 18 months

I was offered tubal repair but I declined as the risk of another ectopic is so high

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but even if they repair it is may no longer be able to push an egg through it because the tiny hairs inside it - cilla - are damaged very easily and can not be repaired. It's not something they will be able to see during surgery and there is no test to see if they work.

I know people who've had the surgery and still gone on to have ectopics even when it's been an IVF transfer - I don't want to scare you but someone's doctors aren't clear and honest about the outcomes of these things x
