Hi all,

I am 7dp5dt. I took a first response lunch time on 5dp5dt and saw a faint line. Faint but could see it and so could my husband and a camera would pick it up. Waited until this morning and took another with fmu and was bfn, possibly the faintest of faint ever. So took one with smu which is darker than the first one but still SO light that I am not sure if I am convincing myself, my husband thinks he might be able to see it but we both agree the one at 5 days was so much clearer. Don’t think a camera would pick up todays. Feeling so disheartened after seeing a line at 5dp. I feel like it would be too early for a chemical and too late to have been my trigger, so whats happening. Xx

@Mummyspider27

Was it a fresh cycle rather than a FET?

The trigger injection can give a false positive for a good few days. You could then have negatives up until your test due date.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you

It was a fresh cycle, trigger was 14 days ago... on previous cycles always had a BFN at 5dp5dt so when I saw 2 lines was convinced that was it, then today took me by such a surprise x

I'm sure I was told that it was a good two weeks that the trigger could cause false positives for, but I can't remember for sure.

Maybe give the clinic a call to check?

The wait between transfer and test was the hardest part of the process I felt

The clinic will just tell me to wait... which I should!
It is the hardest, this is my 4th cycle now, and the bfp test at 5dp5dt was just mean!! X

Thanks @bob1985 BFN and 9dp5dt, so I know I’m out... again. Had higher hopes as this time had a grade A embryo. Have a 4 year old who was naturally conceived after 3.5 years. Then since her 4 rounds of IVF, first round had 2x D grades in, had BFP but MMC at 10 weeks, second round 1x C grade and a compacting embryo BFN, third round the same, a C and an expanding BFN, this cycle 1x A and 1x C and BFN. We do have 1 frozen this time for the first time, it’s a C grade. Will obviously do a transfer of this. But not feeling confident about it. They just don’t seem to know why they aren’t implanting. So hard to know what to do. £27k down and I had said this would be it. Just not sure I am ready to give up on it all. But also hate the thought of throwing money at it when clearly something isn’t working but no-one can say why xx

@Mummyspider27 I'm so sorry.

It's incredibly difficult especially when everything looks as they say 'perfect'. I assume your womb lining is a good thickness etc?

Fingers crossed for your frozen if you go with it.

Always a great thickness. Just so frustrating, I like answers to problems! We will definitely transfer it, but doubt it will work x
