Advice needed - persistent cramping at 5 weeks

I'm so sorry if I've posted this in the wrong place, I really don't want to upset anyone and wasn't sure whether to put this here or on the miscarriage board?
I'm 5+3 today after a natural bfp but had persistent cramping most of yesterday. It felt the same as my last miscarriage but seems to have eased off now. I just wondered if anyone has any advice or can share any positive stories?
I still got 3+ weeks on a clear blue this morning but yesterday was convinced it was all over. We were traveling home from Italy yesterday so lots of standing and walking in the airports followed by a 6 hour drive. I also have endo and have been constipated (sorry tmi Blush) so wondered if that could cause the pain?

Background: Ttc 4.5 years, 6x iui one ending in a mc at 6weeks in January. Don't know how on earth I managed to conceive naturally but we were due to start ivf next month.

Please let me know if I've posted this in the wrong place but I'm too scared to go to the 'normal' pregnancy boards!

Sorry, just wanted to add I've found loads of success stories for bleeding but nothing on early cramping. It felt like low down period cramps or pressure in my cervix area Confused

Hi @janey15. Congratulations. I'm 5+5 weeks and have been experiencing a lot of cramps and twinges in this pregnancy. I had a mmc in April and only had a couple of mild twinges. I was under a fertility clinic and had a hsg in June and since then have been more aware of any changes in that area.

I'm sorry you've also experienced a loss Flowers there's a thread on the pregnancy board where all of us are pregnant after loss, come and join us: it called the penguin huddle x

It's so hard but try to reassure yourself that you are pregnant. I've only tested 3 times, the last nearly 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately in my mmc the tests were professing normally, so they aren't always going to show up if there's an issue.

I'd been on my feet a lot yesterday and found it was worse. Our bodies are doing lots to try and accommodate our babies. The fact you haven't had bleeding is a good sign. Xx

Hi @VenusStarr thank you so much for replying. I'm sorry you've had to go through it too. With my endometriosis as well as Ttc for so long I'm always hyper aware of every little feeling in that area! It's more just discomfort or a feeling of pressure at the moment.
With my mc I only tested once and the line wasn't that strong. With hindsight that should have been an indication but I decided to just see what happened as testing repeatedly wouldn't change the outcome. This time I've tested four times since Wednesday! All strong lines which is obviously better than last time but I know you're right that it doesn't really tell you anything.
I know it's possible to find evidence for anything you want on dr google and it means absolutely nothing for what will happen to me in real life.
Wishing you the best of luck with everything. When is your scan? I might look in on that other group when I feel brave enough! Xx

Thank you @janey15, I realised I'm actually 5+6 today. I'm hoping the epu will give me a scan this week, am calling them tomorrow.

That's a good sign with the strong lines. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. It's such a worrying time but am feeling more optimistic, even though I do have Hugh levels if anxiety. Today, we are both pregnant ❤️ keep in touch xx
