Yes! And some withdrawn posts that had even snuck into our old thread. How bizarre! We're famous Smile

I feel much safer over here! AIBU is known for being very busy and very catty! I think people would have been reading a lot! What did the other post say that got deleted?!

Oh I never saw it; earlier it just said 'message withdrawn at poster's request' then it changed to 'message withdrawn at mn's request'. Let's hope the other one just dies a death :-)

Happy Friday all. @Cauliflower82 thinking of you x

Oh my goodness! I can’t believe some people must have posted comments that needed to be removed from our lovely friendly thread 😯. Oh well, nothing like a bit of controversy. What does AIBU stand for? Sorry 😐.

Everything is good ladies - we heard Pip’s heart 💕. We cried loads, couldn’t stop thanking people and I’d prewritten an essay for them to read too. They must be so grateful 😉. They’re amazing - I’ll always be in awe of their kindness.

oh @Cauliflower82! Oh Pip! That is so wonderful! I'm so pleased for you!

You may have also seen that I've been told off by the admins on the other thread. Ha ha. Hope you liked my contrite (not really) response Grin

Have accidentally put my normal jeans in my gym bag today to wear after my class. Quite the struggle but I've somehow managed to get into them. I actually wonder if the bloat is getting slightly better now that I'm weaning off the Progynova. I thought it was the bum fun that was making me so fat but now I'm not so sure...

@Cauliflower82 Am I Being Unreasonable. People pay there as traffic is high. But people can be really horrible. Read through some of the threads on there!

@KittyKatSmile thank you ☺️. I noticed your comment 😂, subtle to some, not to us :).

@Ginandtonic31 ooh I might have a good nose through before my nap.

@Cauliflower82 this is the section where they will also tell you to leave your partner if he dares speak or go for a pint.

I'm being really sad. I started a criss stitch last night to relax. It's a bunny. It's complex and looks good. I think I will put it in the nursery. It's sad that I have to go to a friends tonight for pizza and come up with an excuse for not drinking but really I want to go home and sew.

I'm worried as all my sickness symptoms have gone and I'm scared baby has stopped growing.

@Ginandtonic31 don't be sad lovely (just what you're supposed to say to someone who is sad). I, too, mainly want to craft (I am a wanker). I am knitting my 4th cardigan. Poor child. I'll earmark this one for your child if you like. Give you something to really be sad about Grin. I think lots of people's symptoms go at some point. I've heard about it on loads of podcasts. Try to distract yourself. And enjoy the pizza at least. Metranydozol is a good excuse if you'd like one; will make you spew like the exorcist if you drink.

Big love

@KittyKatSmile can I do you a gross stitch in return for a cardigan? 😂

Report
Ginandtonic31 · 02/08/2019 16:22

Cross! Not gross

@Ginandtonic31 well it will be a gross cardigan so I'll take a gross stitch!

@Ginandtonic31 I don’t know if this will help but my friend is a little further along than me, about ten or eleven weeks, and she no longer has symptoms either but things are still going incredibly well for her and the baby. Hope you’re doing okay.

@Cauliflower82 I think it's because I was queasy a lot and then it just went! And I'm worried because of the haematoma and one of you ladies earlier said about the placenta been attached and I don't know if mine is attached!! But surely they wouldn't have let me go otherwise. And I won't get a scan now until nhs 12 weeks. I'm also annoyed as community midwife has cancelled my booking appointment and I will be 11 weeks before I see her so god knows when I will get a scan!

@Cauliflower82 Congratulations! I am glad all is well with little Pip! I love how you gave a letter to the nurses.

@Ginandtonic31 Could it be worth getting a scan privately just for reassurance? Xx

@mrbay we're here!

@zest11 thank you 🙏

@Ginandtonic31 I’m thinking what @zest11 said too, anywhere you could go for a private earlier scan?

@Ginandtonic31 my appointment is at ten weeks so a little behind too. The receptionist said to me today that she’s not show how they treat ivf pregnancies. The same, the same 😂.

I spoke to my GP surgery this week and they told me 12 weeks was too early for any antenatal care. I pointed out that you usually get a scan at 12 weeks on the NHS and she went 'oh, yeah, maybe you're right then'. Very helpful.

I've read somewhere else that you can get scans for around £30-40. Oh. It was on the Facebook group 'pregnancy after IVF'. It's actually a terrible group, don't join unless you're feeling strong!

I went to a place for a private scan previously, it wasn't a lovely place but it was really cheap.

I don't have any symptoms other than tiredness and some cramping.

@Cauliflower82 @Zest11 I don't think I want to keep having scans as I've had two. And I work in a hospital! I may be booking for a NIPT test at ten weeks which includes a scan anyway.

@Cauliflower82 I will be nearly 12 when they see me! And also I want to go to a hospital out of area. Don't know if that makes it harder.
