Did your cycle change after IVF?

Cycle was normal before (29-30 days OV day 15-16). After IVF it’s been 38 days OV day 25, 32 days OV day 17 and currently waiting on AF day 33 and OV on day 20. Did anyone else find their cycles went out of wack after IVF? How long until they went back to normal?

Mine went bonkers after second failed IVF. It was normally 29-30 days, then went to 42 days.. then back to normal

I’ve been trying to find an answer to this question for ages, everything I’ve found though suggests cycles have got longer or been late. Mine have been regular as clock work used to be 10 days - 3 days spotting brown to pink, approx 6 days bleeding and another few days of end of period brown spotting. They have now gone to 5 days of really thick dark brown discharge 2 days bleeding then 3 days like brown barely there discharge. As well as that I haven’t been getting the usual horrendous boob pain that signals my period is coming, or my usual ovulation pain. I’ve also been trying to lose weight before starting ivf, I’m doing everything I’ve always done, usually after around 4-6 weeks the results start coming quite quickly, I’ve been in the gym 2 months and have put on 2 pounds! Im really concerned this has given me a hormone Imbalance pr something although I do suffer from Endometriosis so whether that’s got anything to do with it I don’t know. Anyone experienced anything similar?

@KH1987 After our first egg collection and fresh transfer my boob ache completely stopped! My periods have stayed regular, 28 days approx 5 days bleed. But I've also struggled to lose weight!! Its crazy. I mean I don't miss the boob ache but it does make you wonder!

I’m doing what I’ve always done in the past and I’ve always been able to get the weight off within the 3 month scale. It’s getting me down because I want to get the weight off so I go into my next cycle feeling like my health is at its best! Thought about seeing a GP but doubt they’ll have the answers and I’m sure I’ll just get fobbed off! I’m going to give it another month and see if it’s just a slower burner this time round.

I've gained about 10kg since starting IVF last year...I look at my fat belly in the mirror sometimes and pretend I'm pregnant.. I've been working on trying to identify reasons of my weight gain and I think that's it.. I think it might be as well the closest to pregnancy I ever get..

I've put on a about a stone since starting IVF in December, it's so annoying. I have another round coming up soon so doubt I'll manage to lose any before that.

Actually, thinking about it, before IVF I was doing a half arsed attempt at the gym 30 mins 3-4 days a week and I lost more doing that than after IVF doing an hour 4 times a week. Confused the question in what can I do to reverse whatever it is the ivf is doing to make it so much harder to lose weight. It’s cruel and just adding to how depressing the whole situation is!
