HELP! Bleeding 3DPT....any similar experiences? Knowledge on this?

Hello! Need a bit of reassurance! Had my Egg Transfer on Saturday morning and today I woke up with period cramps and had some bright red bleeding. Not loads but enough to cover 2 tissues....one of them had a couple of tiny bits on which looked like period tissue. Google is providing no answers as it talks about implantation bleeding being common/not common and that red is normal but normal??? It's my first time having IVF so it's all the unknown for me. I called my clinic and they said it can happen, bit early for implantation but some women bleed into pregnancy so it can happen. Just to get plenty of rest and relax...finding it hard to relax as i'm so scared that I have lost my Embryo's before it's even begun :-( I had 2 transferred on Saturday due to the overall quality of the batch and have none to go back to in the freezer. I'm also at a crossroads now about whether to go back to work tomorrow!? Not idea what to do!?

Test date is not until the 5th July.

Any experiences or knowledge on this would be very much appreciated!!

@BellaD85 hi, I'm not much help as I haven't been through it myself to know how to help. My only advice would've been to call the clinic, but obviously you already have.
Try not to worry and perhaps call the clinic again tomorrow and see if there's anything that they can do/give you if you're still bleeding. Don't worry about pestering them, that's what they're there for.
I personally wouldn't go to work tomorrow. Get all the rest you can and try not to worry.
I have read of others with bleeding and it's been fine, but if you're still concerned tomorrow, call the clinic again.

@BellaD85 sorry to hear this I had some spotting but it was mostly brown but my clinic upped my pessaries to 3 a day which has more or less stopped it but still have the odd bit on a daily basis but trying not to worry to much! How many are you on a day?

At the end of the day no one knows. It's horrible to sit with the uncertainty but there is nothing you can do. Keep busy and I hope you get your BFP x

@Kelly199 Thank you, I've taken a couple of days off just to rest. I just think that if I don't and it doesn't work then I will kick myself! Intend to spend the next 2 days watching utter rubbish on TV in my PJ's :-)

@FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF Thanks for the information, are you still going through your cycle? I think you are in the other thread I am in but so much goes on in there lol that's it's hard to keep track of everyone :-) I'm on the injections instead of the Pessaries...I did wonder if they would up my dose when I called yesterday but I assume they are happy with my dose. Not really sure if mine is higher/lower or just average! Hat's off to you for the pessaries :-) (I had some EC collection day in one go!!)

@AliceAbsolum Very true and I think that's the hardest part is not knowing. The clinic just said to rest and didn't really seem that bothered so I'm taking that as good news. DH spent all day googling and came to the conclusion that I have had implantation bleeding and it's a good sign bless him....I hope so!! Just feeling a bit mute on the feelings front today....don't want to get my hopes up too much! x

@BellaD85 yes I am have my blood test tomorrow but have already done far to much testing which have been bfp an am still having small amounts of brown discharge daily! Think I’ve had enough injections for now so am happy to use the pessaries! Yes I do pop on there but it moves to fast at time for me I can keep up lol! How is the bleeding today? I have my fingers crossed for you xx

@FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF Oh my goodness congratulations!! That's wonderful news :-) I hope you get more good news tomorrow. I'm so desperate just to do a test although it will obviously showing absolutely nothing yet! I wonder if bleeding and discharge is more common that we think? That's good news that it is brown though as it means it's old blood working it's way down :-) I do know that ha!
Feeling better today, cramps have eased up. Still spotting but its light and also in colour today so feeling more positive. DH thinks that the 2 have implanted and that's what it is so I'm trying my hardest to go with this optimism! Only 8 more days of anxiety to go!! Yes I know what you mean about the other chat, I have to sit down with a pen and paper each time I reply to make sure I answer everyone and don't miss anyone out! Such a great bunch xx

Hi, I know this thread is almost a year old but hoping for a reply! @BellaD85 I am in exactly the same position, 3dpt bleeding with 2 embryos and found out this morning all others that were being cultured didn’t make it. How did your situation turn out?! 🤞🏻🤞🏻
