Been ttc #2 for over 2 years. I'm 43 this year so know time is against me and as I have a child and age knew I had no NHS options but the doctor kindly took blood and I was advised at the end of last year that there was no reason I couldn't fall pregnant and everything was "normal".
Decided to get some private testing done and the results are not good.
It's already cost £175 and I'm loathed to pay for a follow up appointment as I don't think I have any viable options (drugs, ivf etc).
Can anyone help interpret my results for me and tell me if I am reading them right?
My AMH level is 4.7 which is shown as "normal" but I think whilst its normal for my age its actually v low.
The report states under predicted response to controlled ovarian stimulation is reduced, maximal strategy recommended. I don't know what maximal means?
It also says due to age and low AMH there is a poor prognosis of getting pregnant with my own eggs.
The scan shows that there were 8 follicles
