5dp5dt FET - BFN FRER

I’m surprised to find myself here and guess I’m hoping for some positive stories. I KNOW it’s early to test but I already feel like I’m out. I had a fresh cycle in Oct for which I had a BFP and then a missed miscarriage. Had that surgically removed which caused scar tissue so then had another op. I had my frozen envy transferred on Tuesday. It had started to expand and had retained 90% of its cells. I thought I felt numb to the whole process but upon doing a FRER this morning and getting a stark white BFN I’m so emotional so guessing I’m not as numb as I thought! 😩 OTD is Saturday next week. Anyone happen to have any words of advice or comfort?

That is so very early. I'm in my 2ww so have been googling everyday (I think I've read every thread written ever about the 2ww). It seems most people test 7dp5dt at the earliest but even then only getting very faint lines. Try to hold out a few more days. I also had a miscarriage earlier this year, so sorry you had to go through that.

The earliest I've had a naturally conceived BFP is 11dpo on FRER and I've also heard that frozen embryos can take a little
Longer to get going - I had a failed FET in March and had zero symptoms so knew it hadn't worked - by 7dpt I stopped testing x

@itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted thank you for your comment. I’m sorry to hear you had a failed IVF in March. Do you plan to do anymore? I’ve got one more cycle left after this. It all just seems to take so looooonnngggg and waiting around is cruelty. We have unexplained secondary infertility. I just feel like how can this ever work when they don’t know what the problem is. Just throwing money at it and wasting all our time and heartache. Just on a real downer today 😢

@Peanut1980 we have 2 frozen Embryos left from the first cycle so planning on a double transfer when I get this next period. (Early June transfer I think)
Although had failed FET in March I very unexpectedly had a naturally conceived BFP in April - sadly ended in miscarriage but I'm feeling a bit more hopeful now x

I had a BFN 5dp5dt and a faint BFP day 6, with my FET. With fresh I got a BFP day 5. I usually lose hope if no trace of a line on FRER 7dp5dt but carry on drugs to day 9.

I should say ours is also unexplained secondary infertility although have had 3 mc and ectopic since DC1 - it's crap isn't and sometimes feels like it's never gong to happen and we should have spent the money on lots of nice holidays with DC instead 😢 we've got enough money to do one more full cycle and then we'll have to admit defeat but at least we can then stop knowing we tried everything we could and hopefully I'll be more at peace with the whole thing then x

@welshweasel thank you for sharing your experience. I’ll try up until 7dpt.

@itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted I’m so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. We’re going on holiday at the end of next week so at least if I’m not pregnant I can get in the pool with my DC. That will be a good distraction. We have one more full cycle left too. I hope for a better crop next time 🤞🙏 I wish you the best of luck with the rest of your journey x

Hi, I know this is an older thread, I’m currently 5dp5dt & was wondering if anyone could help? Is this line an evaporation line or a faint squinter positive??

Very early to test

I never tested early in 4 of my ivf as didn’t want a false positive due to drugs /trigger and would have to re test at 14 days

But on 5th cycle I did test early. On my birthday. 19th. Think was 10th day Negative but when I tested on actual day 23rd (friends bday) it was a bfp

That line is now 2.5yrs old

I’m doing ok, now 6dp5dt. This is my 8th cycle so you’d think I’m used to the emotional rollercoaster but this time I’m finding it a lot harder to not test early. I’ve always tested early but never felt the need at this stage

@Ml922 I do love the success stories of an early test, even if you test every day till OTD.

Hi Girls
Hope you dont mind me joining.I had one 5 day blastocyst transferred on the 29th of October. Started spotting from 01 of November so was not very hopeful .Yesterday was 8dpt and test was negative .This morning (9dpt) i took a cheap internet test and nothing showed up on it till few hours later. You can only imagine me when I saw the line !!Took digital test and it came up 1-2 weeks pregnant .Very nervous now as I still have the spotting .Could it be progesterone suppositories?Did anyone have similar experience ?

Thanks
