Best supplements for MFI?

Hi all

Can I ask what supplements you would recommend for male factor infertility. My husband started off on Wellman but a friend told us Proceive was better so we swapped to that. I had heard people here talk about Proxeed which I guess is different to Proceive? And then Zita West have a male pre conceive pack that looks to have 4 different supplements to take.

It’s very difficult to compare so I was wondering if you had any idea on which would be best or what you have had recommended?

Many thanks!

DH had 0% normal morphology and he tried proxeed on recommendation of the gp. We would never have tried it on out own as a months supply costs nearly £70 so had previously stuck to cheaper conception vitamins. I fell pregnant within 3 months after trying for a year and a half! Now I can't say for definite that it will help but apart from changing jobs this was the only thing he did differently as all his other lifestyle factors were good, e.g, correct weight, no smoking/drinking etc.

Our fertility clinic recommended condensyl. Not been back yet to see if it's made any difference.

I would definitely recomend Condensyl. On DH first SA his results were awful! I couldn’t believe how bad they were (can’t remember the exact figures now!) he recommended Condensyl so we ordered 3 months worth and did another SA- the dr said it was like a different person when he looked at the results. Dh was very proud that his results were ‘way above average’ in all areas! We’ve just finished our first cycle of ivf and heading to our second soon - I’ve just ordered some Condensyl tonight!

My husband had poor sperm mobility. The fertility clinic recommended proxeed but I got him 3 months of Fertilsan m and I was pregnant shortly after he had taken the course. His mobility had been 20% (40% is a normal level I believe) and he did not have a second analysis done but I had had no hint of a bfp in the 2 years we had been ttc. So I think they must have done the job.

My DH takes well man conception and coq10 100mg as well as 1000umg of vit c. And although results aren’t perfect they have most certainly improved. Gone from sample volume of 2 million to 7 million, 32% motility to 43% and 1% morphology to 3% so a marked improvement. He has been taking them for over a year though.
