CCG funding

Just wondering if anybody has any experience of the NHS funding process.

I was lucky enough to be in a 3 cycle funded area when I first started treatment in July 2018. However my CCG cut that funding to 1 cycle with immediate effect in February 2019. I had a second cycle in Feb/March which hasn't worked, will I get the third?

Was all of the funding applied for when I first started treatment or is it after each failed cycle? Has this happened to anybody else? Or does anybody have experience in the funding side of IVF with the CCG? I'm terrified that if I ask either the hospital or the CCG then it will mean they just take that cycle off me anyway. But I need to prepare myself for not having another chance if it's not going to happen.

I would have thought it was all applied for up front and you would have been approved for 3 cycles. The paperwork for applying is very time consuming so I don’t think they’d do it again after each cycle!
