Help a confused IVF/ICSI first time BFP?

I've been away from anything fertility related since my first ivf transfer failed last August, emotionally it killed me.

I started again in January and we have finally achieved our positive test. We had a FET 5 day blastocyst transferred.

I'm so confused about how "pregnant" I am, I'm hopeless with dates, If I put a timeline can someone help me out?

5 day blastocyst FET transfer happened on 22.1.18

OTD on 2.2.18 (positive, we'd got faint positives since 6dp5d

Does this make me 3 weeks pregnant? I have no clue I can't work out all the dates

I have a scan booked on 26th feb

This is all new to me, I'm quite terrified. I've had so much loss and negativity I never thought I'd get here. We had icsi as my partner has various fertility issues, we've never been pregnant before.

Things I changed this cycle: I ate so much bloody pineapple I can't face to look at the stuff anymore, I exercised more frequently, I ate a fertility based diet (zita west book) I "acted" like I was pregnant from the day of transfer, which I think mentally helped me be positive.

Also thanks to all the support you guys gave me during my first transfer, a truly horrific experience I actually have mentally blocked it because I was so heart broken and talking and venting on here really help me xx

Congratulations! This makes you 5 weeks pregnant as the first two weeks (start of cycle, egg collection etc) is counted. I had my 5 day transfer on the 23rd and I have my first scan in the 26th of Feb too! Xx

No, you’re exactly 5 weeks pregnant.

Egg collection date is day 14 of cycle. As you had a FET, you were day 19 on day of FET I.e. on 22/1/19 (as you had a 5 day embryo transferred).

Which makes your due date 11 October. That shouldn’t change with any scans as with IVF pregnancies we are certain aboutnwjen ovulation and fertilisation occurred so datingnis done by this.

@EarlGreyT wow, 5 weeks! I didn't include the first part, I was counting from the 22nd 😂 this makes me feel better, it's all so confusing
