Help!!
Does anyone recommend this?
I'm looking to prepare myself for icsi and wondering if this is worth it? I had my first session today and it did relax me but not sure if I'm throwing money away? I've also started yoga to help with stress but wasn't sure if just going for a msasge or swim regularly would have same effect of increasing relaxation stress and increasing that happy hormone!

Some studies have suggested acupuncture might increase if success rates. Have a google.

I had acupuncture starting six weeks before ivf twice a week, then daily during stims. My cycle worked.

I’ve had acupuncture for completely different reasons before, and I did find it to work.

It is known that by working on miridians it does shift the energy in the body. Although relaxation is a benefit, it’s bringing the body back into harmony.

Not acupuncture related. I recently saw this post on Instagram with lots of people saying they’ve had great results from the advice given. www.luisazissman.co.uk/?p=647

Good Luck.

I never bothered with acupuncture but anything that helps you relax when going through this isn't a bad thing IMO, most clinics will tell you to avoid Chinese medicine though so speak to them about it before trying anything

I had acupuncture before my first cycle and ended up a cancelled cycle as only had 4 eggs and no embies made it. No acupuncture for second cycle and had 19 mature eggs with 4 excellent quality blasts at day 5.
Acupuncture works for some but not others, give it a try it may help you. My acupuncturist said that I was probably one of the most relaxed IVF patients she had met and this may be why it didnt do me andly benefits

I had 3 failed icsi cycles before having acupuncture twice a week in the 6 week run up to final 4th attempt with a frozen blast. I had no faith in it working and only tried as it was our last attempt and my mum said I had nothing to lose by trying it.

Had a hot stone massage the day before and acupuncturist came to hospital for one last session half hour before my transfer.

2 yo DS is currently on my knee gnawing on an apple.

I was talking with a friend of mine the other day, she said that this works.

She has had 3 IVF treatment and no luck. Tries Chinese medicine and acupuncture and she's 10 weeks pregnant.
