Condensyl - anyone tried it?

My husband has sperm antibodies. We are about to start ICSI, but I have been researching things that might help him. I have heard Condensyl supplements can be good for sperm issues. You have to take them for at least 4 months to start seeing improvement, which isn't any use for our upcoming ICSI, but if the ICSI fails it might help his sperm out for future natural conception / other IVF cycles I guess.

I was just wondering if anyone else has used Condensyl and if it had any positive effect?

Hi Cariad82, my doctor recommended condensyl for my husband? did your partner used condensyl? Did it work?

No sorry we didn't end up using it because I couldn't find enough information and didn't want to spend more money on it if not needed. My brother in law has been taking them for a year though on his consultants recommendation and it's made no difference to his sperm results as yet

My DH took it on the recommendation of consultant following a sperm DNA fragmentation test, he then saw urologist Dr Ramsay who was pleased and advised him to continue. There was an improvement (after 3 months Condensyl) but I don't have latest results to hand, will see if I can find them.

Condensyl seems to have the same concoction of vitamins and minerals as all other supplements out there such as Wellman, the only difference is that it has NAC in it too. If cost concerns then I would just buy NAC outright, equally good supplement for both men and women. NAC helps produce the mother of all antioxidants glutathione. You can buy glutathione in liposomal form but its quite expensive, NAC will do the trick

I have been using it since march it has improved sperm count a lot but could not say for sure that it is def that

It improved the count a lot and also both of the others. Count went from 4.5 million to 8 million, mortality from 24.4 % up to 41.6% morphology only a tiny improvement 1% up to 159%

Thanks steveomc209, it is improved the count a lot but the morphology very tiny. After how long time of taking condensyl the morphology go from 1% to 1.59%? Because my dh take it to improve his morphology 2% and high DNA decondesation

I've just been recomended this today by our doctor as well. After doing a little digging it lools pretty much the same as most fertility targeted multivitamins.

The European Food Safety organisation has also rejected its claims that it makes as part of its advertising about improving dna damage on sperm - as per link below.

I'm in 2 minds as to whether to try it now, at £35 a month it's a lot of money for what sounds like a generic multi vitamin.

somebody else have any improvement using Condensyl. I will start to take this medicine today to try to improve the DNA fragmentation.
