4 days late after egg retrieval

Hi
I had egg retrieval for freezing two months ago.

My period came on 3 days later and was much heavier than usual.

Now about a month on I’m 4 days late whereas I’m usually spot on. I’ve got very sore boobs etc just no Aunt Flo.

We’re not actively trying yet but would be very very happy if it was a pregnancy

I read somewhere you’re more fertile for a month after retrieval- does anyone know if this is true?

I’ve not tested yet cos in part as silly as it is I want to believe I might be pregnant for as long as I can I know I’ll be sad if I see a bfn.

My first natural AF (AF after the AF from egg retrieval) was 4 weeks late

I tested this morning although I know I was hoping rather than realistic and negative.

I guess I’ll keep waiting

KateyA I tested too. Clinic advised me afterwards that AF can be late

Hi op, I read your post earlier but did not want to be the bearer of bad news...AF can often be delayed after cycling...an effect of the drugs. Sorry about the BFN. I had to wait nearly 60 days after freeze all and initial bleed. Hope it comes sooner for you, but just to warn you.

It came a week late but I guess better late than never.
