How do they do it?! Just offering comradeship in the face of the next few months of constant coverage we will all have to put up with! šŸ˜«

God knows. Theyā€™ve been married for about 12 minutes. Itā€™s not fair

Fascinating isnā€™t it. I wonder if they have fertility tests before or are just put on Clomid ?
Never any twins so donā€™t feel like itā€™s ivf.
Rarely premature except for Edwards little Lady Louise
All healthy other than her eye condition which isnā€™t exactly UNhealthy
Iā€™d say lucky genes but theyā€™re adding in the common people now.
It is interesting

I wondered how long theyā€™d been trying šŸ™„

It felt like a punch to my gut when I saw the headline. I donā€™t know them, Iā€™m happy for them, I just hate how unavoidable the news is.

I hate that infertility makes me a bit bitter. :(

I assumed it was a "honeymoon" baby (God I hate that phrase). Glad for them, but why isn't it that easy for everyone ā€¦.

Sorry to read this ladies ļæ¼

It does make me wonder. I'm almost certain they have some sort of sorcery going on. They're always pregnant with great timing, perfectly timed to match when wedded and then bedded.

It's like they had extensive testing before they even began TTC.

Isnā€™t it pregnacy loss awareness day as well?

Report
LillyLeaf · 15/10/2018 13:05

It's amazing how utterly shit this can make me feel. I wouldn't wish infertility on anyone but they are a massive reminder that my body doesn't work. Not looking forward to months of the constant pregnancy updates, then the birth, then the baby photos, I might go hide in a cave.

Tunn yes it is.

forwhatyouare How very thoughtful of them. Twats

Tunnockssnowballs my first thought was how insensitive it was to announce it today

Report
Tunnockssnowballs · 15/10/2018 13:12

Bigheadache so insensitive. Itā€™s been pregnacy loss awareness week leading up to today and there has been so many stories this week about baby loss. I donā€™t believe for a second that they were not aware.

Report
forwhatyouare · 15/10/2018 13:13

To be fair, I expect they don't actually know about it. That's my guess.

However, the PR team should've been more careful and certainly should've known.

Report
Tunnockssnowballs · 15/10/2018 13:14

They are royals. They should know. And like I said I donā€™t believe they didnā€™t know. Itā€™s been all over the news and social media

Report
FingersXssd83 · 15/10/2018 13:15

I'm a republican so not a fan of the royals but now this. Gah! I'm avoiding the BBC for the next however many months until they've stopped cooing.

There really is no escape is there ladies?!

Report
Tunnockssnowballs · 15/10/2018 13:16

No, no escape and anyone who hasnā€™t been through baby loss and/or infertility doesnā€™t give a shiny shit

Report
rainbowgrimm · 15/10/2018 13:17

It's shit, isn't it. Completely insensitive. Though obviously everyone on AIBU knows better & nobody should be upset that a day about baby loss is now about a royal baby.
I keep thinking the usual morning shows will of had someone lined up to go on and talk about their loss, thinking they'll be helping others, and they've been bumped for this.

Report
SandysMam · 15/10/2018 13:20

I have kids but my first thought when I heard this was how insufferably smug they are and even more so if you are struggling with infertility like many of my friends are.
I bet fergie is seething that they have stolen Eugenieā€™s thunder when the world should still be talking about her!! Flowers for those struggling.

Report
Tunnockssnowballs · 15/10/2018 13:21

Iā€™ve just commented on AIBU but I should know better. Iā€™m sure someone who is pretending they have lost a baby to win the argument will come along to tell me off shortly.

Tunnockssnowballs · 15/10/2018 13:22

SandysMam Yes I initially thought what breed of twat announces a pregnacy at someoneā€™s wedding! Never mind on baby loss Remembrance Day šŸ™„

Report
NWQM · 15/10/2018 13:43

Just wanted to send everyone a virtual hug.

I'm not a big royalist but not anti either but very disappointed at the timing. Feels as they would have taken other difficult situations into account when considering the timing of the announcement but no-one knew about baby loss.

Good luck to them but it's very insensitive to have announced it today.

Report
FingersXssd83 · 15/10/2018 14:05

Gosh did they actually announce it the wedding šŸ™Š

So glad we have forums like this when ANOTHER pregnancy announcement is just another punch in the gut!

My sister had her baby boy this morning too. I love her dearly and glad the wee man is well but infertility has somehow got the better of me and made me feel a tad bitter!

I also seen a Facebook comment about the royal announcement this morning an idiot had commented ā€˜glad she got a move on!ā€™ šŸ¤¬ Wanted to jump on the comments and give her what for being the ignorant moron that she is clearly having no clue about the struggles of infertility.

Life is so unfair sometimes šŸ˜¢ hugs to you all xox
