Hi ladies I am beyond embarrassed to post this but hoping someone has been in same boat and can offer advice! I am oncourse for FET and taking cyclogest. I understand they absorb quickly however, had to use the back door this morning then got a call of nature 20 mins later. Do I pop another one in? It was barely 20mins passed! Am scared either way if I do or don’t! My FET is imminent so I don’t wanna mess it up!
Can’t call hosptial as they take an hour to pick up no joke and I’m at work! Xxxx

Hi, I would pop another in, I don't think it will do you any harm!

Oh rats! I did all my cyclogest up my bum - doesn’t leak and so much less messy. Can’t remember having this issue but did the whole pessary come out? If so I think you may need another, but I’m not certain. Phone your clinic, even if you have to leave a message and ask to be called back. And maybe try asking on fertility friends as there are loads of knowledgeable folk on there.

Good luck.

Thank you @harveyrabbit76 and @Verbena87, I'm stuck as I have to run to a meeting so can't call and they don't allow you to leave voicemail (am NHS) just on perma hold. I am happy to pop another emergency one in...I just thought oh god what if I then make my lining too thick! if transfer was a week away I wouldnt be worried but as its so close.... I must admit I didnt see if it had all come out. I'll give it another half hour see if anymore advice then just whack one up there :-D og soooooo undignified!!! cant thank u enough for the quick replies

The worry of IVF is like nothing I’ve experienced before or since, don’t add to it worrying about being embarrassed (I think I lost all shame permanently and am now have no filter whatsoever.)!

Sending you loads of luck. If it helps, my FET resulted in pregnancy and the consultant who told me I was too thin (awful morning sickness) and was risking a poorly, low birthweight baby was wrong as well - he arrived over 10lbs, healthy and gorgeous. Successes do happen - really hope this is your cycle Flowers

Hahaha! Grin

It’s all a total head-wrecker. Hang in there and try to stay (reasonably) sane.

just a quick update in case anyone find themselves in my dilemma ever. I miraculously managed to get hold of hospital just now (hoping luck is on my side this week ;) ) a nurse called me straight back and said 20mins was fine it didn't matter at all but as they want me to be happy and relaxed for Transfer if I would like to take another it wouldn't do any harm. They obv call back on the urgent queries so very relieved! Baby dust to you all. Star

Oh wow, so much luck to you! Feel free to update if you feel like it. Remember this bit so clearly; feeling excited and terrified and overwhelmed and numb all at the same time.
