So it one of the best in the country apparently. I'm due to start in Jan 19. But those odds are horrendous. That is one fresh plus FETs....come on! How can NICE even bother funding this for one cycle? 27%?! I'm shocked and saddened.

That’s a great rate. Make sure you are comparing clinic using HFEA stats for each clinic. Rates quoted in marketing websites - especially clinics abroad as manipulated by excluding complex cases, older etc. remember on average across the country each embryo transfer has about a 33-35% chance of sticking. Then there will be miscarriages etc. my clinic (nhs, but attached to nationally recognised university dept researching infertility) has a 19% live birth rate. 33 when we started(so all eggs that age) and fit as a fiddle - mfi only - has taken a fresh and two FETs (including a CP) along the way. You need to prep for the long haul.
