Hi

My DH has had surgery this month & we bought a insemination kit so we don't miss our chance this month. Currently waiting for our follow up appointment in October when we decide to try IVF or clomid. There is a small chance we can conceive naturally so we don't want to miss out on any chance.

We've had our initial tests back and DH was fine but we tried last night to get some sperm to use and there was hardly any. To be honest we've never looked at how much before! The consultant said there was no issue with his sperm and I think the surgery will have played a part so trying not to worry about it.

I do want to get him to improve his health, no exercise till he's recovered and he's joining sliming world. I bought him wellman tablets but is there any other supplements or tips that others have tried? I've been so focused on me but need my DH to be in tip top health as well!

Water consumption has a massive bearing on volume. DH drank hardly any water and he hardly produced any, upped it and there was a lot more. Sorry if tmi!

Prior to ivf my friend's dh was advised to take 1000 mg vit c (soluble) tablets twice a day for tip top sperm.
They had 4 dc from their 3 ivf attempts!!
The last one was a frozen embryo too!
